Wrath?

Holy Hermit Edith Stein:

“By doing what God demands of us with total surrender of our innermost being, we cause the divine life to become our own inner life. Entering into ourselves, we find God in our own selves. To stand before the face of God—that is our vocation. . . . No human eye can see what God does in the soul during hours of inner prayer. It is grace upon grace. And all of life’s other hours are our thanks for them.”

Prayer:

As we go, Lord, please help us to look up,
seeking the things that honour and please you,
letting go of the things that damage us and others,
clothed with Christ-likeness,
to live and work to your praise and glory.
Amen.
